What kinds of videos we naturally choose

I’ve noticed something interesting about myself lately — the videos I think I like aren’t always the ones I actually end up watching. When I’m relaxed, I might choose something educational or funny, but when I’m just tired or not in the mood to think, my choices get much simpler. What kind of videos do you usually end up watching without planning it?

For me it depends a lot on energy. When I’m mentally active, I go for more engaging content — discussions, interesting explanations, sometimes even fast-paced edits. But when I want to fully switch off, I prefer very calm, low-pressure

videos. Things like slow everyday scenes, long continuous recordings, or simple visual content where nothing changes too quickly. It’s not about learning or excitement at that point — it’s more about reducing stimulation. I’ve realized that if a video feels too intense, even slightly, I won’t relax at all.
